Hundreds of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding,
and baby stories and poems are linked from this
page; joyful as well as sad. Baby deaths and miscarriages
are discussed; and fathers' stories, sensuality
in birth, homebirth, and traumatic hospital birth
experiences are included as well. Many stories
throughout the birth stories indexes contain photos.
Wisdom has also been gleaned from doctors, nurses,
doulas and midwives who want to help spread knowledge
and birth power.
All of our experiences matter, all of our stories
are crucial- we must never say, "oh, it only
happened to me..." Everyone of us deserves
a good birth; there is no "just me".
And every one of us should have as public a platform
as we need to make our voices heard. Please submit
